Hydatid cyst disease, introduced by E. Granulosus, is a parasitic disease which is possible in any organ or tissue but more commonly in liver (75%) and lungs (15%). Urinary tract involvement develops in only 2- 4 % of cases and isolated renal cysts are extremely rare. In this article, we present a case preoperatively radiologically  diagnosed as liver cyst hydatid but during the operation who  turns out to be a renal cyst hydatid and discussed it  in the light of the current literature.
